Nicht nur die Optik der KTM 250 EXC konnte die 1000PS Offroad Fraktion überzeugen. Der 2-Takt Einzylinder wurde mit viel Drehmoment, angenehmen Durchzug und einem kultivierten Lauf gelobt. Das Verhalten des Fahrwerks hat bis auf den zu starken Rebound der Gabel ebenfalls überzeugt. Somit glänzt die KTM 250 EXC neben einer komfortablen Sitzposition auch mit neutralem und gutmütigem Handling.
