Aprilia Tuono 457 - New A2 Naked Bike 2025

The design of the Tuono 457 focuses on clean lines and compact forms. The front of the bike is equipped with a full LED lighting system, reinterpreting the brand's signature triple front light of Aprilia models. The tank is ergonomically designed and aimed at providing a comfortable seating position. The wide handlebars and seat height of 800 mm ensure an upright seating posture, which is particularly advantageous in urban traffic. The Tuono 457 is available in two color variants: "Piranha Red" and "Puma Gray".

At the heart of the Aprilia Tuono 457 is a 457 cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine. The engine has been specifically tuned to meet the requirements of the A2 license class, delivering 47.6 hp at 9,400 rpm. The maximum torque is 43.5 Nm at 6,700 rpm. According to Aprilia, the tuning ensures that a significant portion of the torque is available even at low revs. The dry weight of 159 kg is intended to significantly contribute to the bike's nimbleness.

The Aprilia Tuono 457 is the only bike in its category equipped with an aluminum frame. The design draws on solutions from the larger Aprilia models, offering a combination of rigidity and lightness. The Tuono 457 features a 41 mm fork at the front, providing 120 mm of travel and adjustable preload. The rear wheel is guided by an asymmetrical steel swingarm, equipped with an adjustable shock absorber and 130 mm of travel.

The braking system includes ByBre calipers and two 320 mm discs at the front, as well as a 220 mm disc at the rear. The Tuono 457 features a Bosch dual-channel ABS, providing additional safety and allowing for two operating modes: the ABS support can be set to either both wheels or just the front wheel.

Thanks to ride-by-wire, three riding modes are available, offering specific settings for power and traction control:

• ECO Mode: In this mode, the engine delivers power smoothly, and traction control is set to level 2. This mode is optimized for longer rides and daily use.
• SPORT Mode: This mode offers a more dynamic power delivery, with traction control reduced to level 1, supporting sporty riding.
• RAIN Mode: The rain mode is designed for riding on wet or slippery surfaces. Power delivery is very gentle, and traction control is activated at the highest level 3 to prevent slipping.

Another highlight is the 5-inch TFT display, which is designed to present all information clearly. It is equipped with backlit controls that allow for easy operation even in poor lighting conditions. Through the optional Aprilia MIA system, a smartphone can be connected to the bike, offering additional features such as navigation and media control.

Aprilia offers a wide range of accessories for the Tuono 457 to tailor the bike to the individual needs of riders. The accessories include, among others:

The prices for the new Aprilia Tuono 457 are yet to be announced.
