Dear readers! Sometimes, one can be struck by bad luck. CFMOTO invited us to the grand press launch in Portimão – a day that couldn't have been more perfect. The morning kicked off with pleasant temperatures and even a bit of sunshine on the large MotoGP track with the sporty 675 SR-R. A hot warm-up session, indeed, before heading to the nearby go-kart track for the 675 NK in the afternoon. But as the clock struck 12, the rain began, and the ride with the NK got wet.

Wet and Wild Adventures with the Triple-Cylinder Naked Bike
CFMoto expands its lineup in the naked bike segment with the 675NK – an aggressively styled mid-range bike featuring a triple-cylinder engine. At first glance, this motorcycle impresses with its futuristic design and high-quality build. But how does it perform on the road – or in this case, on the slippery go-kart track of Portimão?

The officials on the kart track also issued a clear warning: Due to the tire wear from the go-karts, the track is extremely slippery. As a result, we took it easy with some relaxed laps on the compact course. Here are our impressions.
CFMOTO 675 NK: Triple Cylinder in the Mid-Range Naked Bike Class
The CFMoto 675NK is a mid-range naked bike featuring a 675 cc triple-cylinder engine that delivers 90 hp at 11,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 68 Nm at 8,250 rpm. The chassis includes a fully adjustable Kayaba 41-mm upside-down fork at the front and a monoshock at the rear with adjustable preload and rebound damping. The J.Juan braking system comprises a 300-mm double disc brake with four-piston radial calipers at the front and a 240-mm single disc brake with a single-piston floating caliper at the rear. The motorcycle weighs 189 kg and has a seat height of 810 mm, which can be adjusted with an accessory seat. The fuel tank holds 15 liters, and the features include LED lighting, a 5-inch TFT display, and a two-stage, switchable traction control and ABS.
Design & Build: Cohesive Naked Bike Styling
CFMoto stays true to its design roots: The front mask follows the distinctive lines already known from other NK models. Sharp edges, a dynamic look, and an aggressive overall appearance make the 675NK stand out visually. In terms of build quality, there is nothing to criticize: The panel gaps are precise, and the motorcycle feels well thought out and high-quality. The controls and the 5-inch TFT display leave a classy impression, conveying modern technology.
Balanced Ergonomics on the 675 NK
The ergonomics of the 675NK meet the expectations for a mid-range naked bike: The rider sits upright, with the handlebars high and close to the body, ensuring good control. The knee angle is somewhat sharper, which taller riders might find constrictive – however, CFMoto offers a taller seat from their accessory range as a solution to this issue.
Engine & Performance: CFMOTO 675 NK 2025
A real highlight of the 675NK is its triple-cylinder engine, newly developed for this platform and also tested by us in the 675 SR-R. The engine impresses with its throaty sound and flexible power delivery, allowing for lazy shifting. However, during riding, a noticeable load change reaction below 4000 rpm was observed, particularly evident in tight corners. Upshifting on this naked bike is managed via the switchable quickshifter, which lacks a blipper function due to the mechanical throttle. The installed slipper clutch aids in smooth downshifts.

The triple-cylinder is impressive even in its first generation.
675 NK Experience: Challenging Conditions, Yet Fun
Since the initial test ride took place in the rain and on a track made slippery by kart tire wear, a full assessment wasn't possible. Nevertheless, the 675NK proved that it can still offer a good amount of riding fun even under challenging conditions. In terms of safety features, the 675NK comes with ABS and a two-stage traction control, which can be completely deactivated. However, both systems are not lean-angle sensitive, meaning more self-control is required in extreme situations. Nonetheless, the traction control provides a certain safety buffer even in slippery conditions.
A final test under dry conditions, particularly on country roads, is still pending – after all, that's exactly what this motorcycle was built for.
CFMOTO 675 NK Pricing: A Real Threat to Established Brands?
With the aggressive pricing of the 675 NK, CFMOTO sends a clear message to European and Japanese manufacturers: they're here to claim a share of the market. Even with limited riding time, it's evident that the 675 NK offers an incredible price-performance ratio. In Germany, the naked bike costs around 6,500 euros (price yet to be finalized), 7,490 euros in Austria, and 6,490 Swiss francs in Switzerland. This is quite a statement, especially in the price-sensitive mid-range naked bike segment.
