KTM introduces a new electronic update for its premium models aimed at further optimizing user-friendliness and the riding experience. At the center are the new touchscreen dashboards V80 (8 inches, vertical) and H88 (8.8 inches, horizontal), new handlebar switches, and an improved connectivity unit. The goal of these innovations is to enhance the Human-Machine Interface (HMI) and minimize distractions while riding.

Improved visibility and easy handling

The TFT dashboard features a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and a color display with 256,000 colors, designed to optimize visibility in all lighting conditions. An anti-reflective, anti-fingerprint, and anti-glare coating ensures that the screen remains easily readable from various angles. The touchscreen is inductive, allowing operation both with and without gloves. Functions such as grip or seat heating and fog lights can be controlled directly via virtual buttons on the screen.

Customizable Dashboard for KTM Premium Models

The dashboard offers a split-screen function with five different layout options. Riders can select various main functions, including adaptive cruise control, map navigation, telemetry, favorites, or music. A simplified view that displays only the most important information is also available.

The shift system has also been revised. It includes a button for the riding mode, a new 5-way joystick, and a back button, as well as new cruise control buttons. The buttons are illuminated and designed to be easily operated while riding.

Integrated offline navigation and enhanced connectivity

The new connectivity unit offers integrated offline navigation that works without pairing with a smartphone. It enables real-time route guidance, pre-programmed points of interest, and more. The new CCU3.0 connectivity unit with 32 GB storage and 3 GB RAM supports eSim, GPS, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi. This allows the motorcycle to automatically connect to a smartphone at each start to control music or contacts.

KTM plans to provide over-the-air updates for the bike in the future. Initially, software updates will still be carried out through the dealer, but in the future, they will be able to be loaded directly onto the bike.
