The previous generation of the 790 ADVENTURE already received comprehensive updates in 2024, which provided more stability. Revised throttle bodies improved fuel efficiency and combustion, while a knock sensor facilitated the use of lower-octane gasoline. Additionally, an optimized Power Assist Slipper Clutch with new friction plates and an airbox with improved airflow were introduced.

New Chassis for the 790 Adventure 2025

For the 2025 model year, KTM has further enhanced the chassis. The 43mm WP APEX Open-Cartridge fork and the WP APEX shock absorber are directly sourced from the KTM 890 ADVENTURE, offering new adjustment possibilities.

The fork features Split-Function technology, where compression and rebound damping are distributed across the two fork legs. Adjusters on the fork caps allow for precise tuning, which is particularly advantageous for rides with a pillion or demanding off-road tracks. The WP APEX shock absorber provides 200 mm of travel, adjustable rebound damping, and a tool-free preload adjustment via a hand adjuster. This allows the suspension to be easily adapted to various riding situations.

PowerParts for More Individuality

In addition, a wide range of KTM PowerParts is available, allowing riders to add protection, performance, or design elements. Two new color variants complement the model, giving it a dynamic appearance.

The KTM 790 ADVENTURE of the 2025 model year will be available at authorized KTM dealers from December. More information can be found on the official KTM website.
