L'Africa Twin est pour moi une moto d'aventure comme une moto d'aventure doit l'être. C'était déjà le cas pour le modèle précédent et cela n'a pas changé avec l'augmentation de la cylindrée et de la puissance. D'une part, parce que la puissance de 102 ch est restée raisonnable et que Honda a même réussi à perdre quelques kilos par rapport à la CRF1000L. Il lui restait donc la polyvalence, elle fonctionne aussi bien sur l'autoroute qu'en off-road. Le châssis absorbe presque toutes les irrégularités, le moteur reste souverain dans toutes les situations, l'ergonomie et le confort d'assise sont exemplaires. Une moto pour tous les jours, mais aussi pour les grands voyages - quelle que soit la destination.

Honda ose - et met dans le mille. Le X-ADV est un deux-roues crossover sophistiqué, pratique et étonnamment précis. Avec le mode G de la boîte de vitesses à double embrayage DCT, l'aptitude au tout-terrain est encore plus soulignée. Mais le véritable terrain de jeu du X-ADV est la route, où il fonctionne à merveille et présente un mélange génial de sportivité et de confort, que l'on ne connaît normalement que sur les grandes routières et justement les scooters.
