La Tiger 800 XRx est une compagne absolument fidèle sur tous les chemins - et les chemins de traverse. En effet, la parenté étroite avec sa sœur Tiger 800 XCx lui confère un châssis très robuste et adapté au tout-terrain, le moteur monte en puissance sans à-coups, même de très bas et ne stresse donc pas, même au pas. La XRx n'est plus adaptée à la route qu'avec les petits pneus de 19 pouces à l'avant et de 17 pouces à l'arrière. Je n'ai pas été le seul à la conduire pendant la saison, ce qui signifie que plusieurs pilotes l'ont utilisée de différentes manières et l'ont donc sollicitée. C'est un défi de taille, car la manière de conduire de chaque pilote est différente. Et c'est là que la Triumph Tiger 800 XRx s'est révélée être un excellent talent universel.
KTM 1090 Adventure 2018

La KTM 1090 Adventure est un grand pas en avant par rapport à son prédécesseur, la 1050 Adventure, en direction de ses grandes sœurs. Le package électronique avec les Riding Modes réglables, le contrôle de traction et l'ABS reste certes à un niveau déjà élevé, mais le moteur développe désormais 125 ch, soit environ un tiers ( !) de plus que la 1050. Ce qui est presque plus important, c'est qu'il peut désormais tirer librement jusqu'à plus de 10 000 tours et offre ainsi une plage de régime plus exploitable. Il est difficile de trouver une moto plus équilibrée dans la catégorie des grandes enduros de voyage encore à peu près abordables.
