Malheureusement, le moteur charismatique se cabre fortement à bas régime et ne révèle son magnifique caractère de V2 que sur la route. Mais dans l'ensemble, cela reflète très bien l'image globale de la Monster : une Ducati typique qui, en termes de châssis et de freins, peut aussi être utilisée pour la conduite quotidienne.
