Le "grand" moteur deux temps a été redéveloppé en 2017 et est utilisé sur les 250 et 300. Le démarreur électrique n'est plus "bridé" mais intégré de manière compacte. Le moteur de la 250 reste fidèle à sa ligne et a gagné en puissance sur toute la plage de régime. La moto offre un haut niveau de perfection et, entre les mains d'un expert, elle est une machine gagnante imbattable et indestructible. Assez forte pour les professionnels ! 300 pour la fraction rapide pas vraiment nécessaire. Un grand plus pour le confort de conduite grâce au nouvel arbre d'équilibrage : nettement moins de vibrations !

La TE 250 est la 125cc qui a grandi. Elle est déjà nettement plus facile à piloter, mais ne peut pas nier quelques parallèles avec sa cadette. Mais la 250 est très agréable à conduire sur un slalom de prairie suivi d'un parcours d'enduro-cross.
