Honda GL 1800 Goldwing 2020

The new Honda Gold Wing is a big hit, both in terms of equipment and riding dynamics. The engine remains a wonderfully smooth six-cylinder boxer that still finds its purpose in sovereignty from the bottom up. Nevertheless, the Gold Wing is much more agile and sporty thanks to less weight and, above all, a new chassis. Nevertheless, there is no lack of comfort, the seat is wonderfully comfortable, the wind protection is sufficient due to the somewhat lower windshield - but it is good for the looks. The Gold Wing Tour models have a higher windshield and top case anyway. Theoretically, the Gold Wing can be upgraded to a Gold Wing Tour with a top case and higher windshield, but then the traction control is missing, which is standard on the Gold Wing Tour and Gold Wing Tour DCT.

You like a Honda GoldWing - or you don't. For many people, the bulky, 421-kilo ship is simply too heavy. And that's perfectly legitimate, after all, not everyone can handle such a hunk. But once the Gold Wing is in motion, it is surprisingly easy to ride, thanks to the silky six-cylinder boxer engine. The braking system is also extremely reliable and precise. Of course, you can't demand too much sportiness given the limited lean angle, but you hardly have to make any concessions when it comes to the luxury features such as the sound system, navigation system, ventilation, heating and luggage compartment. And the 40th Anniversary Edition also looks very good with its noble paintwork.
