Honda CUV e: Engine, Battery, and Range
The Honda CUV e: is powered by a 6 kW E-Drive hub motor, giving the scooter a top speed of up to 83 km/h. At the heart of the vehicle are two interchangeable Honda Mobile Power Pack e: batteries, each with 48 volts and 1.3 kWh capacity. With this battery capacity, the CUV e: achieves a range of over 70 km, based on internal Honda tests in WMTC mode. Additionally, the e-scooter offers three riding modes: Standard, Sport, and Econ, to optimize the riding experience depending on the application.
The approximately 10 kg batteries can be removed and charged at a standard household socket. A full charge cycle from 0 to 100% takes about six hours, while a partial charge from 0 to 75% is achieved in just three hours. Honda emphasizes the robustness and longevity of the batteries, which are designed for over 2,500 charge cycles.
Features of the Honda A1 Electric Scooter
Honda has equipped the CUV e: with a variety of features. The 5-inch TFT display is standard and provides the rider with all necessary EV-specific information. For additional connectivity and navigation functions, an optional 7-inch TFT display with the Honda RoadSync Duo system can be selected. Additional features include:
*** Reverse Assist:** A reverse assist feature that is helpful when parking and maneuvering in tight spaces. *** Smartkey System:** The smart key allows the rider to easily start the vehicle without actively using the key. *** LED Lighting and USB-C Port:** The LED lighting technology ensures optimal visibility, and the USB-C charging port allows devices to be charged while riding.
Honda CUV e: Riding Comfort in Daily Use
The chassis of the Honda CUV e: aims to impress with its robust construction and high-quality components. The steel frame with an underbone design, combined with a 31 mm telescopic fork and two rear shock absorbers, is intended to provide comfort and stability. The seat height of 766 mm and the flat step-through allow for a comfortable seating position and easy mounting and dismounting. Weighing in at 120 kg, the CUV e: is also light enough for inexperienced riders. The 12-inch wheels and the Combined Braking System (CBS) are designed to ensure safe braking deceleration.
