Suzuki V-Strom 800DE 2024
It's amazing how much an unagitated, practical all-round motorbike like the Suzuki V-Strom 800DE can get to your heart. It is probably due to this clever design with manageable electronic features that can be optimally customised to personal needs. Thanks to the excellent Ride-by-Wire system, the engine is more powerful in the lower range than the displacement would suggest and does everything right both on and off-road. With 220 millimetres of travel at the front and rear, the suspension is really well trimmed for off-road, but clearly also offers an advantage for road riders on bad roads. The ergonomics are good so far, only tall riders should consider the higher, optional seat due to the somewhat acute knee angle.
Voge Valico 900i DSX 2024
The Voge DS900X is a remarkably well-equipped machine that impresses in many areas, especially considering its price of less than 10,000 CHF/Euro. Despite some compromises in the quality of detail, such as the simple design of the logo and the somewhat hard indicator button, the DS900X offers solid features including modern safety features and comfort elements. The use of renowned brand parts for brakes, suspension and electronics sets it apart from other budget bikes. In addition, its power limit of 95 Horsepower makes it accessible to holders of an A2 driving licence, which makes it particularly attractive for novice riders. Overall, the Voge DS900X offers excellent value for money and could be an interesting option for many beginners as well as price-conscious riders.
