Triumph Scrambler 1200 X 2024

Triumph Scrambler 1200 X 2024

Triumph launches an entry-level 1200 Scrambler for everyone! More accessible in terms of price and dimensions, the 1200 X presents itself as the logical base model of the 1200 series, which is slightly more respectful of the XE variant than the retired XC. If a great engine, elegant looks and high-quality electronics are important to you and if you can overlook the similarities with other (cheaper) Triumph models, the 1200 X offers a well-rounded package.

superb engine

beautiful appearance

full electronics package

large scrambler (also) for small people

pleasingly low fuel consumption and emissions

sound as bassy as ever

Limited lean angle freedom

exhaust heat still noticeable

suspension not adjustable except for rear preload

Honda XL750 Transalp 2023

Honda XL750 Transalp 2023

The Transalp had to prove itself in several tests at 1000PS in 2023. Surprisingly, it scored particularly well in the pillion test on Tenerife. Its accessible nature makes motorcycling easy. You can enjoy the ride and the landscape. The machine offers a surprising amount of sportiness with a very accessible character. All in all, the Transalp is a great all-rounder.

Sporty engine that is also very accessible Wonderfully easy-to-operate engine with butter-smooth clutch

Engine feels very revvy

Precise transmission

great comfort and plenty of space for pillion

Sporty engine - yet low fuel consumption

Switches and dashboard are generally robust

Economical engine

good price/performance ratio

great stability

strong practicality

Driver assistance systems have to manage without IMU - therefore very defensive control

Suspension offers too little adjustment range

no cruise control available
