Det verkar nästan som om Yamaha YZF-R6 föddes på racerbanan. Det är lätt att se att R6 är lillasyster till YZF-R1. Oavsett om det gäller designen, ergonomin, bromsarna eller de elektroniska hjälpmedlen - racinggenerna finns överallt! R6 är ett enastående stycke ingenjörskonst i 600cc-klassen och, beroende på dina preferenser, förmodligen den bästa 600cc-cykeln som för närvarande finns tillgänglig - åtminstone för racerbanan. Yamaha ger föraren otroligt hög precision och feedback över framhjulet och chassit, och är samtidigt superhanterlig! Motorn är extremt varvvillig, men vill också hållas nöjd. Det är synd att den senaste versionen av R6 har förlorat lite av sin kraft på grund av Euro 4... Ändå kommer den att vara den snabbare bancykeln för de flesta av oss.
