Egentligen ligger den mycket nära medelklassen, bara den tråkiga svingarmen och det smala 160-bakdäcket (som dock underlättar köregenskaperna enormt) passar inte riktigt in i detta segment. Men den är knappast dyrare än instegscyklarna, och istället några, ibland till och med många tusen billigare än mellanklassen. Det gör den till ett oslagbart erbjudande!

Man kan alltid argumentera för utseendet och avsaknaden av en trellisram, men den nuvarande Monster är allt annat än ful. I grund och botten skulle det vara en bra vardaglig nakencykel med trevlig ergonomi och ett bromssystem som inte överraskar ens de oerfarna.
