KTM 390 Duke är en "riktig" Duke. Varumärket: Extremt smidig hantering som ger kraftfull körglädje. Den lätta 390:an kan styras exakt med sin smala midja och breda styre och känns som mest hemma i snäva kurvor. Speciellt med Supermoto-läget är det en rolig maskin utan dess like. Tyvärr är det bara bromsarna och fjädringen på 390 som inte kan hålla samma, mycket höga prestandanivå som på 125 Duke eller 890 Duke. De känns lite svampiga och inte optimalt avstämda, särskilt när föraren väger lite mer. Utrustningen är annars i toppklass, särskilt när man tänker på priset för 390 Duke. När det gäller körglädje/euros överträffar den de flesta, inklusive sina Duke-systrar.

All in all, the new CBR500R is guaranteed to be a suitable entry into the world of the stooped. The look is to die for and appears sporty and aggressive, but the riding itself is child's play. The wind protection is great, the seating position still relatively relaxed. So there's nothing to stop you from being completely happy with this economical sports bike (a little over 4L/100km fuel consumption), both in the corner and on the way to work or university. It will be hard to find another motorbike that is as easy to ride and looks so sporty at the same time!
