Na podlagi vozne dinamike ter visoke terenske in potovalne usposobljenosti običajnega modela R 1200 GS predstavlja Adventure največjo rešitev za terenske potovalne voznike. Z obsežnim oklepom in 30-litrskim rezervoarjem ima motor s 125 KM več za vleko, vendar je še vedno ohranjena visoka stopnja okretnosti. Pri opremi ni ničesar prihranjenega, veliki Adventure ponuja celoten program: ABS, ASC (samodejni nadzor stabilnosti) ter dva načina vožnje "Rain" in "Road" so del serijske opreme.

At the regulars' table, it will hardly score points with 120 hp. But in practice, all elements of the motorbike are designed and dimensioned in such a way that you enjoy riding it for a long time. On long tours, it has sufficient power, offers dynamic handling and high riding comfort. Compared to the competition, you hardly miss the power. Kawasaki should improve on the integration of a Navigatinos app in the display.
