Zaradi tesne povezave s sestrskim modelom Tiger 800 XCx ima zelo robustno in terensko zmogljivo podvozje, motor pa se gladko vleče tudi od daleč navzgor in zato tudi pri hoji ne povzroča nobenih obremenitev. Model XRx je zasnovan bolj za uporabo samo na cesti, saj ima spredaj manjše 19-palčne pnevmatike, zadaj pa 17-palčne pnevmatike. V sezoni ga nisem vozil kot edini preizkuševalec, kar pomeni, da ga je več pilotov uporabljalo na različne načine in ga zato tudi izzvalo. To je v bistvu precejšen izziv, saj je slog vožnje vsakega posameznega voznika drugačen. In prav tu se je znova pokazalo, da je Triumph Tiger 800 XRx odličen vsestranski voznik.
