Z 19-palčnim sprednjim kolesom in terenskim načinom vožnje terenski izleti niso težava, vožnja po cesti in dolga potovanja pa so posladkana z neverjetno mero razkošja. Poleg previdne vizualne retuše sta zdaj na voljo tudi zelo enostavno nastavljiva višina vetrobranskega stekla in 5 načinov vožnje. Popolna osvetlitev LED in osvetljena krmilna enota. Pametno je, da sta vrhunska modela XRt in XCa dobila osvetlitev Full LED, osvetljeno krmilno enoto ter ogrevane ročaje in sedeže izključno na poti.

Tiger 800 XRx je popolnoma zvest sopotnik na vseh poteh - in tudi izven njih. Zaradi tesne povezave s sestrskim modelom Tiger 800 XCx ima zelo robustno in terensko zmogljivo podvozje, motor pa se gladko vleče tudi od daleč navzgor in zato tudi pri hoji ne povzroča nobenih obremenitev. Model XRx je zasnovan bolj za uporabo samo na cesti, saj ima spredaj manjše 19-palčne pnevmatike, zadaj pa 17-palčne pnevmatike. V sezoni ga nisem vozil kot edini preizkuševalec, kar pomeni, da ga je več pilotov uporabljalo na različne načine in ga zato tudi izzvalo. To je v bistvu precejšen izziv, saj je slog vožnje vsakega posameznega voznika drugačen. In prav tu se je znova pokazalo, da je Triumph Tiger 800 XRx odličen vsestranski voznik.
