Čeprav Continental GT 650 vizualno ni povsem nov model (obstaja že Conti GT 535), pa je zdaj prvič po skoraj 50 letih na trgu Interceptor 650 z dvovaljnim motorjem. Oblikovanje zato spretno odraža slog šestdesetih let prejšnjega stoletja, medtem ko je tehnologija sodobna. V njem ne boste našli nobenih elektronskih funkcij, vendar je vzporedni dvovaljni motor z 48 KM in 53 njutonmetri navora presenetljivo okreten, vodljivost pa je zelo nevtralna. Razveseljive so tudi zavore Brembo z dobrim doziranjem, Pirellijeve pnevmatike pa ne kažejo nobenih slabosti. Položaj sedenja je zelo udoben, zato lahko Interceptor 650, če se ne želite voziti tako športno, udobno križarite - tudi to zmore zelo dobro.
