Tiger 800 XC na to opozarja že s svojim imenom: velike in ozke pnevmatike, dolg hod vzmetenja in pokončen položaj sedeža vsekakor omogočajo terenske izlete. Poleg tega je Tiger 800 XC izjemno okreten, zato je zelo zabaven tudi v ozkih ovinkih. Moč 95 KM za to zlahka zadostuje, zelo opazne pa so tudi značilne lastnosti, kot sta dušen zvok in močan srednji navor. Zavore so prijetno mehke za vožnjo po gramozu in terenu, vendar se na cesti zdijo tudi nekoliko brezzobe.

In to po zaslugi zadostnih hodov vzmetenja na cestah najrazličnejših lastnosti, pa tudi na dokaj zmernih terenskih prehodih. V našem prvem vtisu ni bilo veliko stvari, nad katerimi bi se lahko pritoževali, vsekakor pa si bomo Tigra še podrobneje ogledali.
