As for weaknesses, the KTM 890 Adventure R has a standard seat that is rather hard padded, and the seat height may be challenging for small riders. Some useful features, such as Quickshifter+, are only available at an extra cost. The KTM 1290 Super Adventure has a windshield that is jagged and a locking lever on the right side, which may be inconvenient for some riders. Additionally, the power delivery at low revs can be somewhat jerky.
