Sedežni položaj je športen, vendar nikakor ne neudoben, zavore so močne, motor modela S 1000 R pa je najboljši - morda celo nekoliko preveč homogen. Tudi na področju vožnje se ni mogoče pritoževati. BMW-ju je manjkalo tisto nekaj, karizma, ki jo je težko razložiti, a vzbuja pristna čustva.
