In terms of weaknesses, the KTM 890 Adventure R 2023 has a standard seat that is rather hard padded, and the seat height may be challenging for small riders. Additionally, useful features such as Quickshifter+ are available at an extra cost. The KTM 1090 Adventure 2018 has the weakness of having outdated optics compared to the new 1290 Super Adventures, and its suspension fork is not adjustable.
