Zaradi izpopolnjene vilice, vzmetenja Öhlins, ki sicer ni popolnoma nastavljivo, je pa bolj odzivno, in hitrejšega zavornega sistema Brembo M4.32 je SE osvežujoče športen in je vreden dodatne cene - še posebej, če upoštevate tudi kul videz komponent Prestige! Vendar pa dejstvo, da quickshifter ni na voljo niti za doplačilo, prizadene prave športne navdušence. Če se lahko sprijaznite z razmeroma visoko težo, ki presega 214 kilogramov, dobite dovolj obvladljivo golo kolo.

Popolnoma nastavljivo vzmetenje Öhlins (vključno z vilico v barvi švedskega zlata!) odlično izpolnjuje svoj namen, zavorni sistem Brembo Stylema se oprijema silovito, vendar ne neprijetno, položaj sedenja z nekoliko večjim nagibom naprej pa je športen, a še vedno udoben. Tudi motor se zelo dobro ujema s konceptom zelo športnega golega motocikla srednjega razreda - želi se vrteti in v zgornjem delu zagotavlja največjo moč. Če iščete pomanjkljivost pri modelu Monster SP, je to najverjetneje trzanje motorja V2 pri nizkih vrtljajih, vendar to pravih ljubiteljev motorja V2 90° sploh ne bo užalilo. Tudi cena ni problematična, saj Italijani za zmogljivost različice SP plačujejo precej visoko ceno.
