Še vedno gre za zlato sredino. Veliko lažji za vožnjo kot 350. Ni tako nervozen, vendar je le malo bolj okoren. Ima neskončno moč in navor. Motor 501 je odkrito rečeno odveč. To kolo ni prešibko za nikogar. Verjetno ni najbolj kul izbira, 450 je bil dolga leta "mainstream", vendar je med napornim enduro tednom najboljši partner, kar si jih lahko zaželite. Nekaj dodatnih kilogramov je hitro pozabljenih na ležernih povezovalnih etapah. Med testom smo ga vozili tudi z avtomatsko sklopko Rekluse. Ta je delovala odlično in prihranila moč.

Na področju cross-countryja je Honda CRF 450 RX verjetno številka 1. Njen enovaljnik prepriča z zadostno močjo, vendar se pri naših testnikih vedno znova izkaže. Kot je za Hondo značilno, CRF 450 RX že od samega začetka daje veliko samozavesti in ima najboljše vozne lastnosti v razredu 450. Vendar je šasija zasnovana za hitre etape in ni preveč prepričljiva v tršem enduro sektorju. Živahen in okreten enduro za segment cross-country!
