KTM 1050 Adventure 2016 vs. KTM 1090 Adventure 2017

The KTM 1050 Adventure model year 2016 and the KTM 1090 Adventure model year 2017 have many similarities in terms of their technical specifications. Both bikes have a bore of 103 mm and a stroke of 63 mm, indicating that the engines have the same dimensions. They also have the same engine displacement of 1050 ccm and feature a 2-cylinder engine. The starter is electric for both models and they both have a chain transmission.

In terms of suspension, both bikes have upside-down telescopic forks at the front and use WP suspension components. The chassis for both models is made of chromium-molybdenum and has a tubular frame. The front brakes are provided by Brembo.
