A eletrónica controla a tração, o chassis e a gestão do motor de forma tão discreta que se pode concentrar totalmente e, acima de tudo, com segurança, na aceleração. Nas rectas intermédias, os 160 cv de potência asseguram que a 1290 Super Adventure também pode cumprir os requisitos desportivos e, portanto, dificilmente é ultrapassada em termos de universalidade.
