A KTM fez tudo certo com a nova Superduke 1290 R. A posição de assento mais desportiva que resulta do novo quadro é perfeita para o ataque rápido, o motor não perdeu nada da sua potência apesar do Euro 5, mas também se tornou mais refinado em conjunto com a eletrónica mais sensível.

Precisa de 175 cv ou mesmo de controlo de arranque numa moto de turismo? Claro que não. É divertida? Sem dúvida! Embora a Super Duke GT não consiga esconder os seus genes e seja inegavelmente uma Duke em termos de agilidade e potência em curva, apesar dos seus 209 kg de peso a seco, ainda é possível passear de forma descontraída, assumindo sempre uma certa "maturidade" com estes dados de desempenho, claro. Porque ao contrário da Super Duke R ou mesmo de uma 890 Duke R, não me sugere constantemente a faca entre os dentes, mas sim uma sensação de soberania, livremente de acordo com o lema "eu posso, mas não preciso".
