BMW F 850 GS 2022 vs. Ducati DesertX 2023

In terms of weaknesses, the BMW F 850 GS experiences vibrations at higher RPMs, has a dull engine, a stiff and quick gear lever, and inadequate front suspension damping. The fork is also non-adjustable, and the motorcycle feels heavy. The front brake could be more effective. On the other hand, the Ducati DesertX has a smoother engine operation in the lower RPM range, slightly inferior suspension response compared to the fork, a very high and non-adjustable seat height, and limited space and no grab handles for the passenger.
