KTM 890 Adventure 2021 vs. KTM 890 SMT 2023

The KTM 890 Adventure 2021 and the KTM 890 SMT 2023 are both powerful motorcycles with similar technical specifications. In terms of strengths, the Adventure has a super motor with a linear power delivery and superior performance, well-controlled brakes, comprehensive electronics, good ergonomics for both seated and standing riding, and a low seat height suitable for shorter riders. The quickshifter is also a highlight, enhancing the riding experience, and the low center of gravity contributes to excellent handling.

On the other hand, the SMT has a powerful motor with linear power delivery, agile braking system, playful handling, pleasant angularity, reasonable touring capability, comfortable ergonomics, universal usability, and moderate fuel consumption.

However, both motorcycles have their weaknesses. The Adventure has a pricing policy for extras, a non-adjustable telescopic fork at the front, and important components like the quickshifter and cruise control are not included as standard. The SMT, on the other hand, has additional costs for important features and a design that may not appeal to everyone.
