Yamaha XSR900 2022 vs. Brixton Cromwell 1200 2022

The Yamaha XSR900 2022 and the Brixton Cromwell 1200 2022 are both naked bikes with inline engines and liquid cooling. However, there are several differences between the two models.

In terms of power, the Yamaha XSR900 has a more powerful engine with 119 HP compared to the Brixton Cromwell's 81.5 HP. The Yamaha also has a higher torque of 93 Nm compared to the Cromwell's 108 Nm. The Yamaha has three cylinders and a displacement of 889cc, while the Cromwell has two cylinders and a displacement of 1222cc.

In terms of strengths, the Yamaha XSR900 has a powerful engine, a quickshifter as standard, good brakes, an extensive electronic package, and a sporty yet everyday ergonomic design. It also has a good value for money and a wide range of factory-available accessories. On the other hand, the Brixton Cromwell has a surprisingly superior engine, a pleasantly muted sound, a comfortable seating position, a successful appearance, extensive electronics, renowned components, and a good price-performance ratio.

In terms of weaknesses, the Yamaha XSR900 has a hard seat and a low turning angle. The Brixton Cromwell, on the other hand, could improve the operation of its electronics, has somewhat slow cornering behavior, limited lean angle clearance, and a difficult-to-read screen under direct sunlight.
