Especialmente na pintura GS do 40º aniversário, está a comprar uma moto incrivelmente emocional que, começando pelo motor e acabando na pintura, é um prazer conduzir todos os dias!

A antecessora já era capaz de ser conduzida de forma desportiva, bem como convincente em passeios, a nova R 1200 R pode fazer ainda mais - graças ao sistema de pannier (claro que a um custo extra), viajar ainda não é problema, mas domina o desporto ainda melhor. O modelo básico está bem equipado com ABS que pode ser desativado, controlo de tração que também pode ser desativado e dois modos de condução, mas muitos truques interessantes são quase obrigatórios - e, claro, fazem subir muito o preço.
