A estrela e a principal fonte de alegria é, sem dúvida, o potente motor de três cilindros, que nesta primeira geração da Tiger Sport sem uma rede de segurança eletrónica exige um toque experiente ou cauteloso no acelerador. O seu desempenho é muito bom em todas as disciplinas. É no modo touring que perde mais, devido à falta de todas as caraterísticas de conforto. Se quiser algo assim, terá de optar pelos modelos Tiger Sport a partir de 2016.

A nova edição da Tiger 800 XC pode ser considerada um sucesso.
