A Panigale 1299 S é um claro passo em frente em relação à antiga Panigale. Os fãs da Ducati que não estavam totalmente satisfeitos com o modelo anterior podem agora encontrar o seu grande amor na nova máquina. As muitas mudanças na moto tornaram-na mais forte, mais rápida e também um pouco mais manobrável. Os condutores rápidos e experientes que gostam de 2 cilindros não têm outra escolha e ficarão satisfeitos. O controlo de tração, a eletrónica do motor para controlar o travão motor e, claro, a suspensão eletrónica da Öhlins são realmente muito bons. Mas mesmo a nova Panigale não é uma mota com a qual os pilotos menos ágeis consigam encontrar bons tempos praticamente sozinhos, como no banco de uma BMW, por exemplo. A Ducati tem o seu próprio carácter, que nem todos gostam, mas que encanta os Ducatisti até certo ponto.

A conclusão é muito fácil para mim. A Ducati tornou uma "mota já quase perfeita" ainda melhor sem alterar nada de forma negativa. Apesar de andar na estrada com esta carenagem radical causar provavelmente alguma agitação e um ou dois pilotos a acharem desconfortável, é óbvio que se sentem mais confortáveis com ela na pista de corrida. A moto sai da caixa mais parecida do que nunca com uma moto do Campeonato do Mundo de Superbike. Também acredito que o proprietário da V4 2018 é perfeitamente capaz de melhorar os seus tempos de volta com a versão 2020. A minha dica: se tiveres o cuidado de aumentar o depósito ou de o tornar mais aderente, podes ultrapassar ainda mais o centro com o teu casco.
