A BMW R nineT Scrambler também funciona de forma excelente, contando com o mesmo "velho" motor boxer com refrigeração a ar, que a BMW milagrosamente tornou compatível com a norma Euro4 sem sacrificar a performance ou o carácter. O chassis é mais macio, a distância entre eixos mais longa e o equipamento mais espartano - mas sob o pseudónimo Scrambler isto é perfeitamente aceitável, afinal de contas o foco é uma condução confortável. O selim opcional de um homem é um pouco duro, mas a R nineT Scrambler não é de forma alguma desconfortável e a posição de condução é particularmente convincente. Por isso, se conseguir viver com menos equipamento, aço em vez de alumínio e elementos de suspensão mais simples, pode poupar muito dinheiro com a Scrambler - que pode depois investir melhor na personalização!
