The Yamaha Tenere 700 World Raid 2023 and the Yamaha Tenere 700 2023 are both enduro motorcycles with similar technical specifications. However, there are some notable differences between the two models.

Starting with the engine and drivetrain, both models have the same bore and displacement, with a stroke of 68.6mm for the World Raid model and 65.6mm for the standard model. They both produce 73 horsepower and 68 Nm of torque. The World Raid model has an electric starter and a chain transmission, just like the standard model. Both models have a 2-cylinder engine with a displacement of 689cc.

In terms of suspension, the World Raid model has a front telescopic fork with a travel of 230mm, while the standard model has a front telescopic fork with a travel of 210mm. The World Raid model also has a rear swingarm suspension with a travel of 220mm, while the standard model has a rear swingarm suspension with a travel of 200mm.

In terms of equipment, both models have LED headlights and a TFT screen. However, the World Raid model also has additional features such as connectivity and daytime running lights.

In terms of strengths, the World Raid model has a high torque and finely controllable engine, good ergonomics, long range, and a powerful chassis with plenty of reserves. On the other hand, the standard model has a robust and reliable appearance, sporty and elegant looks, playful behavior, an incredibly sporty and fun engine, good finish, a practical range of adjustment on the chassis, relatively low weight, and is very resistant. It also has the ability to turn off the ABS and is very suitable for off-road riding, with very good ergonomics.

In terms of weaknesses, the World Raid model has a fuel tank that can be obstructive on steep climbs, brakes that could have more power on the road, and a rotating wheel that can be annoying in the long run. The standard model has a less comfortable seat for long trips, slightly loose brakes on asphalt, a short list of electronic equipment, low-speed load changes, and the concept of operating with the support wheel was not well received during testing.
