KTM 1190 Adventure 2016 vs. KTM 890 Adventure 2021

The KTM 1190 Adventure model year 2016 and the KTM 890 Adventure model year 2021 are both enduro motorcycles produced by KTM. While they share some similarities, there are also notable differences between the two models.

On the other hand, the KTM 890 Adventure 2021 has a super motor with linear power delivery, well-controlled brakes, comprehensive electronics, good ergonomics for both sitting and standing riding, low seat height suitable for shorter riders, and an enjoyable gear lever.

However, the KTM 1190 Adventure 2016 has some weaknesses, such as the engine being a bit jerky below 3000 rpm and not feeling as independent as its predecessor. The smooth slip is also not its strong point. The KTM 890 Adventure 2021 has weaknesses in terms of pricing for extras, non-adjustable telescopic fork at the front, and important components like the quickshifter and cruise control not being included as standard.
