The Ducati Scrambler Urban Enduro carries the adventure image most strongly among retro bikes. If Indiana Jones ever appears on our cinema screens again, I can see him saving the world on an Urban Enduro. The characteristic V2 engine and the compact appearance bring a lot of emotion, nothing stands in the way of a trip to the next dirt road. The high enduro handlebars also promise a lot of safety, but are just narrow enough to still fit between lines of cars. Nevertheless, the little Italian is not perfect. The chassis is too soft when riding fast, the engine's load-change response is too rough and the gearbox tends to twitch at high revs. However, if you don't mind this, the Scrambler Urban Enduro is a retro bike that also cuts a good figure off the road.

What more can be said about the BMW R nineT? Since its release in 2014, it has been a real perennial favourite in the customising scene and also at BMW itself. Its ingredients, however, are of very high quality and explain why the result is so coherent. The boxer engine, full of character, is a real joy every time you pull the throttle and, thanks to the wonderful sound, it never gets boring in the long run. Despite the relatively high weight, the BMW is pleasant to ride thanks to the high-quality chassis and finds a balanced mixture between cruiser and sporty naked bike.
