Le moteur tourne désormais plus calmement, l'assistant de changement de vitesse apporte de la sérénité lors des phases d'accélération et le châssis a gagné en qualité. Mais elle aime toujours plus la course effrénée que la vitesse élevée dans les longs virages.

Son prédécesseur, la 790 Duke, avait déjà prouvé que KTM savait comment construire une naked bike de classe moyenne pour la route.
