La KTM 390 Duke est une "vraie" Duke. Sa marque de fabrique : Une maniabilité extrêmement agile qui procure un plaisir de conduire puissant. Avec sa taille fine et son large guidon, le poids mouche de la 390 se laisse diriger avec précision et se sent le plus à l'aise dans les épingles serrées. Surtout avec le mode Supermoto, elle est une machine de plaisir qui n'a pas son pareil. Malheureusement, seuls les freins et le châssis de la 390 ne peuvent pas maintenir le même niveau de performance très élevé que sur la 125 Duke ou la 890 Duke. Ils sont un peu spongieux et leur configuration n'est pas optimale, surtout si le pilote est un peu plus lourd. Pour le reste, les caractéristiques / options sont au top, surtout si l'on considère le prix de la 390 Duke. En ce qui concerne le plaisir de conduire/l'euro, elle dépasse la plupart des autres motos, même ses sœurs Duke.
