La nouvelle Honda Gold Wing est une grande réussite, tant au niveau des caractéristiques / options que de la dynamique de conduite. Le moteur reste un six cylindres à plat délicieusement doux, qui trouve toujours sa vocation dans la souveraineté par le bas. Néanmoins, la Gold Wing devient beaucoup plus agile et sportive grâce à un poids réduit et surtout à un nouveau châssis. Le confort n'en est pas pour autant absent, la selle est magnifique, la protection contre le vent est suffisante grâce à la vitre légèrement plus basse - mais l'esthétique s'en porte bien. Les modèles Gold Wing Tour sont de toute façon équipés d'une bulle plus haute et d'un top-case. En théorie, il est possible d'équiper la Gold Wing d'un top-case et d'une bulle plus haute pour en faire une Gold Wing Tour, mais il manque alors le contrôle de traction qui est de série sur les Gold Wing Tour et Gold Wing Tour DCT.

La BMW R 1250 RT est tout simplement souveraine sur les grands parcours. Nous avons conduit le modèle 2020 et sommes déjà très enthousiastes avec ce niveau d'équipement. Cette moto lourde est compacte dans la main et se faufile avec agilité dans les virages. Une superbe moto de voyage.
