La Speed Triple reste fidèle à sa ligne dans sa dernière génération - une moto naked délicieusement affûtée, qui marque le style streetfighter comme peu d'autres modèles. Pour la piste de course, elle n'a qu'un intérêt limité - bien sûr, le moteur trois cylindres rugissant de 140 ch procure énormément de plaisir et le châssis ne présente pas de grosses faiblesses, mais il existe une Speed Triple R avec des éléments de suspension Öhlins, qui se sent naturellement plus à l'aise sur la piste de course. Dans l'ensemble, la Speed Triple S est un excellent chasseur de routes, qui a également beaucoup à offrir sur le plan esthétique.

Le modèle haut de gamme des Street Triples mérite pleinement son appellation. Plus sportive à tous points de vue que la version R, la RS se présente sur la route comme une machine de plaisir qui n'a que peu d'adversaires à craindre. Les trackdays sur la piste de course sont également un sujet de discussion, d'autant plus que le moteur est très pointu, que le frein Brembo est super sportif et que le châssis avec l'amortisseur Öhlins est merveilleusement précis.
