La moto se comporte très mal si nécessaire, mais elle peut aussi être utilisée de manière tout à fait civile dans le trafic urbain. En plus, la suspension Öhlins à réglage électronique offre un grand confort de conduite. En somme, un excellent talent universel qui fait bien plus que paraître méchant.

Le problème de la Streetfighter V4 S avec moteur Euro4, à savoir l'absence de puissance à bas régime et l'explosion à haut régime, a été largement corrigé lors de la mise à jour vers Euro5. Certes, les 208 ch aberrants ne sont toujours disponibles qu'à 13.000 tours, mais la SF V4 S se comporte désormais de manière acceptable à bas régime également. C'est donc une moto de poseur parfaite, qui fonctionne aussi sur la route, et de toute façon sur la piste de course. Seule la sonorité trop forte devrait être un peu freinée.
