Tout compte fait, la nouvelle CBR500R est une porte d'entrée idéale dans le monde des motards. Le look est à tomber par terre et donne une impression de sportivité et d'agressivité, mais la conduite elle-même est un jeu d'enfant. La protection contre le vent est excellente, la position assise est toujours relativement détendue. Rien ne s'oppose donc à ce que l'on soit pleinement heureux avec cette sportive économique (consommation légèrement supérieure à 4L/100km), aussi bien dans les épingles que sur le chemin du travail ou de l'université. Il sera difficile de trouver une autre moto aussi facile à conduire et aussi sportive !

La mise à jour 2021 de la Honda CBR650R résout le plus gros problème du modèle de l'année dernière : le châssis trop confortable.
