À cela s'ajoutent désormais des caractéristiques ultramodernes comme l'ABS en position inclinée et le Combined Brake System, qui rendent la conduite encore plus sûre et plus rapide. Les critiques sont prises au sérieux chez Suzuki, le pare-brise a été agrandi et, conformément à la tendance, une version XT un peu plus tout-terrain de la V-Strom 1000 est désormais disponible, avec des roues à rayons métalliques qui augmentent non seulement la stabilité mais aussi l'aspect cool - surtout avec les jantes dorées de la peinture jaune. Outre tous ces avantages, le prix avantageux reste toujours le killer argument absolu pour la Suzuki V-Strom 1000 / XT.

La KTM 1050 Adventure reprend à mon avis là où les aventures 990 s'étaient arrêtées il y a quelques années : Une puissance d'environ 100 ch, une maniabilité ludique et autant ou aussi peu d'électronique que l'état de l'art actuel. Le moteur est en effet tout sauf lent, l'ABS et le contrôle de traction règlent de manière sûre et discrète et la performance de conduite est extrêmement orientée vers le plaisir, notamment en raison des pneus relativement étroits. Et tout cela à un prix qui, dans la ligue des grands enduros de voyage, n'est battu que par quelques concurrents. Aussi triste que cela puisse paraître, les deux aventures 1190 et surtout le fleuron 1290 Super Adventure ont atteint des sommets en matière de prix. C'est pourquoi la KTM 1050 Adventure est peut-être même le modèle le plus cohérent des quatre Adventure.
