La nouvelle Honda Gold Wing Tour DCT est une grande réussite, tant au niveau des caractéristiques / options que de la dynamique de conduite. Le moteur reste un six cylindres à plat délicieusement doux, qui trouve toujours sa vocation dans la souveraineté par le bas. Néanmoins, la Gold Wing Tour devient beaucoup plus agile et sportive grâce à un poids réduit et surtout à un nouveau châssis. La boîte à double embrayage DCT (Dual Clutch Transmission) convient parfaitement à la Gold Wing Tour, surtout le niveau automatisé Econ qui enrichit énormément le confort. Le mode Sport est peut-être un peu trop sportif, mais le confort ne fait pas défaut pour autant. Le confort d'assise et la protection contre le vent sont uniques, les nombreuses fonctionnalités sont tout simplement magnifiques - on ne peut vraiment pas faire mieux. Seul l'espace de rangement est réduit, il manque 40 litres à la nouvelle Gold Wing Tour par rapport à son prédécesseur.
