Visuellement, la nouvelle BMW R 1250 RS est la seule parmi les cinq grosses cylindrées à avoir subi des modifications vraiment importantes. Cela lui va très bien, car le nouveau moteur ShiftCam, avec sa magnifique souveraineté à bas régime, a changé son caractère, la RS est désormais une meilleure routière. Elle n'est toujours pas une moto légère et compacte, mais elle offre une stabilité et un confort magnifiques, seule la protection contre le vent pourrait être un peu meilleure.
