Le rétro est très tendance, le rétro est cool. C'est ce qu'ont compris les gens de Suzuki, qui ne lancent certes pas beaucoup de nouveautés sur le marché pour 2018, mais qui en lancent une vraiment sympa : la SV650X. Il n'a pas été nécessaire de changer grand-chose pour la faire entrer dans le cercle des Cafe Racer modernes : L'habillage du phare, la peinture, les carénages latéraux, la selle et les embouts de guidon bas suffisent à obtenir ce résultat. C'est surtout la position de conduite orientée vers la roue avant qui lui va bien, sans pour autant la rendre considérablement moins confortable. Le châssis n'est certes réglable qu'à l'arrière en ce qui concerne la précontrainte des ressorts, mais le moteur poussif est une merveille et le prix est correct.
