La nouvelle WR 450F est une véritable moto de course qui se situe au premier rang en termes de technique et d'innovation. Un châssis Kayaba qui n'a pas son pareil dans la construction de série, des freins au top. Un jour un peu plus grand serait encore bien et un peu plus de "sensation de carburation" dans les bas régimes. Mais le meilleur, ce sont les possibilités offertes par le Powertuner.

Le moteur de l'YZ450F est puissant et un peu agressif, mais il peut être optimisé par des cartographies. Ce qui est frappant sur l'YZ450F, c'est le bruit d'aspiration important du moteur, mais on s'y habitue rapidement. La maniabilité est également très bonne et les vitesses sont faciles à passer.
